Ergonomic Angling Solutions by Trigger Happy Comfort Grips

Exhibiting Excellence: Products That Truly Perform, DSF Approved

If you’re like me, fishing is your passion. I’ll fish from sunrise to sunset every possible day. Young or old, the demands of hardcore angling can wear on your body, and especially your hands.

You use your hands to do just about everything when you’re fishing. Each year, as an angler ages, flexibility, cartilage, and muscle diminishes. The discs in your joints will lose water, becoming narrower. These effects produce pressure leading to inflammation and pain. Your grip strength can lessen, and your hands are less tolerant of stress.

Trigger Happy Comfort Casting Banded Ribbed Grip

Trigger Happy Comfort Spinning Grip

I use Trigger Happy Comfort Grips (THCG) on every freshwater rod-and-reel setup, and on any saltwater setups they'll fit. These innovative products make a tremendous ergonomic difference, preventing fatigue and slipping. Made from soft rubber, Trigger Happy makes a grip for baitcasting rod triggers and spinning reel posts. From mild to wild, there is a wide range of colors to suit your tastes and match your gear. Special orders and custom colors are available, too.

Banded Ribbed Trigger Grips are available in multiple color combinations: two per package, and still at $5.99 at Tackle Warehouse (TW). More colors are available at the Trigger Happy Comfort Grips website; the link is below.

Spinning Reel Banded Grip, choose from three colors, 2 per pack, remaining at the OG price of $4.99 at TW. Comes with mounting instructions, or watch the video on the THCG website.

The Original Banded Trigger Grip and the Original Comfort Grip, two per package $5.99 at TW. Original Comfort Grip (without the band) not shown, $4.99 at TW.

When I’m fishing, there are only a few things I want to focus on, and dealing with pain and soreness isn’t one of them. It’s not fun knowing a wide-open jerkbait bite is taking place, and sore hands won’t let you keep up with the action.

Avoid painful distractions. Trigger Happy Comfort Grips keep me in the game longer.
