Diverse Exposure: Lessons from Larry Dahlberg

"There are countless key holes that look into the totality of the fishing universe" - Larry Dahlberg.

A Dahlber seminar excerpt by Derrek Stewart 3/8/19, updated 9/19/24

"Anglers who only want to fish one style or species limit themselves to a very narrow exposure. The goal in one's life as a fisherman should be to look through as many key holes as possible. Diverse angling makes for a far better angler."

Without a doubt, I wholeheartedly agree and draw principles from each type of angling that transcend all fishing. This exposure confidently places me in a better position for success every time I cast, regardless of the pursuit.

It's a lot of fun too!
