What
to Expect
Your surf fishing
adventure starts early, as you head out to pristine beaches with the sunrise.
You're provided with top-of-the-line rods and reels, rigged with proven
fish-catching lures. I recommend wearing shorts, a sun shirt hoodie, a hat, and sunglasses.
You'll want to fish barefoot, and you'll get wet.
Whenever I'm surf
fishing, I don't have anything on me that I'm not willing to lose; in other words,
my pockets are empty. The surf has a way of sneaking up on you, and items tend
to dislodge from your pockets into the water.
Bring a backpack with
water, your favorite soft drinks, and snacks. Use flip flops for walking when
you're not fishing. Store your valuables and Mexican fishing license in your backpack
and leave it in the truck. A beach towel is a good idea, too. The Cabo
